Before joining Thames Strategy Kew-Chelsea as our Coordinator, Ruth had over 20 years’ experience working as Greenspaces Development Manager at the London Borough of Merton. Among awards that she received there was the Merton Excellence Award in the Category of Employee of the Year for Environment and Regeneration. She has brought a large degree of qualities, experiences and skills to her new role at Thames Strategy.
At Thames Strategy, Ruth has managed many projects since becoming the TSKC Co-ordinator in 2011.
Some of these projects have included replacing trees and Landscaping works in Furnivall Gardens, New Playground at Hurlingham Park, Rowberry Mead Fitness units in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
New seating along the whole of the TSKC area.
Updated Towpath surfacing in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames.
New Play area at Stand on the Green in the London Borough of Hounslow.
New Historical Interpretative panels throughout the whole of the TSKC area including Bishops Park, Strand on the Green and Hammermsith Bridge.
One of our current projects is the rejuvenation of the Chiswick Eyot in conjunction with the Old Chiswick Protection Society.
